On-page optimization in seo refers to all measures that can be taken directly within the webpages in order to improve position in search rankings. And this optimize the content or improve the quality of meta description and title  tags.

 

A webpage is hypertext document provided by a website and displayed to a user in a web browser. A website is typically consist of many webpages and linked it together in a logical fashion.

 

The name webpage is a metaphor of paper pages bound together into a book. We can divided a webpage in to two sessions. The head session of body includes all the stuff that does not show directly on the resulting page. The <title> and </title> tags compute the title of your page. The title is what shows in the top of your browser window when the page is loaded.

Meta tags are snippets of text that describes a page's contents. The meta tag doesn't appear on by itself, But only in the page's source code. Meta tags are essentially little content descriptors that help tell search engines what a webpage is about.

3. The title must be attractive and unique. 

4. The pixel width limitation is 512.

5. Use the most relevant keywords in your niche.

7. Maximum 7 words in a title.

Search engine shows it in results mostly when the searched for phrase is within the description. It's pixel width limitation is 1024. Moz toolbar, screaming frog are some of the tools used to determine the pixel width. Make the meta description simple and unique. 

If the meta description is not relevant google takes the h1 or h2 tags. In SEO the impression is known as the number of searches made by users. When we get 100 impressions  in a search result but the expected CTR (Click through rate) is very low so we can change the meta description to a marketing way with the approval of your webmasters like mentioning offers, discounts and use star ratings.

An example of robots meta tags is  <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" /> . When we give 
<meta name ="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" />. Noindex means the google bots will not crawl your webpage. Nofollow means that the search engine bots will not crawl your webpage. Content="noodp" means do not use the description provided in the open directory websites.

Body section optimization

Body section optimization is one of the main part of on-page optimization. The most visible and attractive part of of the body is the main heading (h1). Only one h1 tag needs to be given. When one or more h1 is given and the h1 tag is not contrasted this will create  confusion for the the google crawlers. At that time google takes a snapshot of the page and saves it to a temporary database called "Sandbox"

Anchor text is clickable hyperlink. SEO best practices dictate that anchor text to be relevant to the page you are linking to. Focusing keywords must not be used as Anchor text, which leads the viewers to another website that also uses the the same keywords. When the anchor text is not properly given and the user cannot access the link from our webpage then google considers this type of link as broken links
